The story

Some things are too personal for a factory to touch. A name, a date, a phrase that means something only to you — this is a pendant made the old way: one hammer strike at a time, by hand, just for you.

About this piece: Each dog tag pendant is 4cm x 2.5cm, hand cut and hand finished from solid copper, cupro-nickel or brass. Using individual metal stamps, I hand-stamp your choice of words, names, numbers and picture stamps directly into the metal — no printing, no engraving machines, just steel stamps and a hammer.

Browse the listing photos to see the full range of picture stamps available, along with lettering and number styles. Mix and match to create something that's completely yours — an anniversary date, a child's name, coordinates, a single meaningful word, or a symbol paired with initials.

This necklace is finished with an antique, aged look which includes darkened features.

For someone who...

— wants a piece that means something, not just looks nice — is marking a date, a person, or a chapter of their life — loves the idea of a gift that can't be bought off a shelf — wants jewellery with a bit of weight and history to it, not something mass-produced

Choose Your Metal

🟡 Brass — bold & confident Brass has a rich golden tone traditionally linked to strength, confidence and personal power. A striking, durable choice that develops a beautiful patina with age.

🤎 Copper — warmth, vitality & connection

Copper has long been associated in spiritual and energetic traditions with warmth, vitality, energy, love, connection and grounding.

Its rich earthy tones make it a beautiful choice for a piece centred around courage that comes from the heart.

🌙 Silver Cupronickel — clarity, calm & renewal

Cupronickel has traditionally been associated with clarity, calm, purity and quiet renewal — energetically linked to reflection, emotional balance and a fresh start.

Choose whichever speaks to you — or the one that matches the person you're making it for.

🗡️ Choose your Edging - Fluted or normal Fluted Edging is a gently scalloped, rippled border pressed around the outside of the tag. It gives the piece a worn, vintage military feel, as if it's been carried for years. Every tag is hand-finished, so no two edges are exactly alike, and that character is part of its charm.

How to Order

1. Choose your metal (copper, cupro-nickel or brass) 2. Add your text and stamp — up to 8 characters/letters per line (let me know if you'd like help fitting your wording) 3. Let me know which picture stamp you'd like from the photos, and where you'd like it placed 4. Choose if you want flutes edging 5. I will use my design experience to put all the features together on a unique and personalised, hand stamped pendant.

Individually Handmade

Every pendant is stamped and finished entirely by hand. Small variations in letter depth and spacing are part of the handmade process — not flaws, but proof that a real person made this for you. Please allow 3 business days for me to hand stamp your order before it ships.

Each tag is treated with a patina to bring out the detail of the hand-stamped letters and give it a naturally aged, vintage look. This is a normal part of the finishing process and adds character to every piece — slight variations in tone are part of what makes each tag unique.

Comes with

60cm ball chain

Meaningful metal. Intentional stamps. Handmade with heart.
