Ready to stay close

Your custom tag includes a matching-colour 60 cm traditional ball chain.

Three metals. Your meaning.

Meet the metals.

Different tones and different histories. The personal meaning is yours.

Silver Cupronickel

Cool, silver-coloured and contemporary. “Silver” describes the colour; it is a copper–nickel alloy and contains nickel.

Brass

Golden, warm and full of character. A copper and zinc alloy with a warmth all its own.

Copper

Earthy, rosy and beautifully warm. Its surface can develop its own character over time.

Workshop words

The useful details, without the homework.

Hand stamping
A hand-stamped Second Spring necklace

Every character is stamped individually into the metal. Small variations in depth, spacing and finish are evidence of the handmade process.

Oxidised finish
Colour and surface texture on a finished Hammer & Heart piece

Oxidation darkens the recessed impressions and develops an aged-looking surface. “Antique” describes the finish, not the age of the tag.

Renaissance wax
A textured-heart picture-stamp illustration

A thin coat of microcrystalline wax helps resist moisture and handling. It is used on both Natural and Antique finishes and is not a permanent seal.

Your words. Your little work of art.

What will yours say?
